Ava Faubus ’27

Ava Faubus
Ava is a junior majoring in physics with a minor in mathematics.

She is interested in particle physics, and is currently participating in an independent study delving into theoretical neutrino physics. During the summer of 2025, she worked as a research assistant in the Battat Lab, where she helped test and refine a neutrino detection device for potential implementation in the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment. She is also interested in language-learning and participated in a Russian language immersion program at Middlebury College. Upon graduation, Ava hopes to pursue a PhD in Physics and commit herself to answering fundamental questions about the universe and challenging barriers to STEM education.
