Noely Irineu Silva
Noely Irineu Silva is an international student from Brazil double majoring in Economics and Education Studies.

She has contributed to interdisciplinary research as a Knapp Fellow (’24 & ’25) on educational belonging for newly arrived immigrant youth of color, and as a UROP research assistant at MIT Sloan, where she studied the impact of AI on global labor markets. Last summer, she interned at Roble Ventures, gaining experience in venture capital and strengthening her skills in data analysis, financial interpretation, and strategic communication. On campus, Noely is currently interning at the Wellesley Centers for Women, developing a research project focused on educational policy and social justice. She also serves as the treasurer of the Capoeira Club, which promotes Afro-Brazilian cultural expression. After graduation, Noely hopes to explore a career in education policy, research and inclusive economic development.
