Adela Kelemen
Adela Kelemen is a junior studying biological sciences and environmental studies.

Her academic interests center the relationship between ecology and sustainable food systems, particularly in an urban context. She spent the summer (2025) interning at Tenuta di Spannocchia, a sustainable farm in Tuscany, where she studied regenerative agriculture with an emphasis on community building. On campus she works for the Botanical Gardens in multiple departments (i.e. Indoor and outdoor horticulture, visitor experience, docenting, pest specialist team, and fish care team) and works in the Griffith environmental studies lab researching the invasive mustard garlic to understand how the population is colonizing and adapting across the North East. She has working knowledge of Spanish. Adela’s goal post grad is to conduct research on urban biodiversity and policy.
