Maya Krishnan
Maya is a senior studying Biochemistry and English.

In the summer of 2025, she worked as an intern for the Jain lab at Mass General Hospital, creating content for a website to help patients with the rare cancer Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma learn more about their diagnosis, treatment options, and how to access clinical trials. Maya has spent significant time abroad, conducting chemistry research on traditional medicine plants in Ghana, and learning about universal healthcare systems in Denmark. On campus she is the co-president of Wellesley for Public Health, BC^2, and Chem Society, which are student groups focused on exploring education and opportunities in public health, biochemistry, and chemisry. Maya has intermediate skills in Spanish which she hopes to gain fluency in in the near future. Her post graudate plans include going to medicial school and gaining a master's in public health. In the future, Maya hopes to address public and global health issues related to healthcare access, preventative care, and disparities in health.
