Aisha Lemos Paz ’26
As a sophomore, she interned with the Asociación Cordobesa de Parálisis Cerebral y otras Afecciones Similares (ACPACYS) in Spain, where she helped plan and deliver physical and neurocognitive stimulation sessions for individuals with cerebral palsy and related conditions. During her junior summer, she interned at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT, developing accessible, micro-invasive brain sampling devices and investigating cancer metastasis pathways. She focused on making diagnostics more accessible and less invasive for low-resource communities. On campus, Aisha serves as an Academic Success Coach for the PLTC and, most recently, a Ministrare Peer Leader, supporting leadership development within the student community. She is proficient in English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese, her native language. After graduation, Aisha aims to work in cancer research and accessible biomedical device development before pursuing postgraduate studies.
