Anna Weiner ’27

Anna Weiner
Anna is a junior double-majoring in biological sciences and Spanish.

She is a fan of research inquiry and has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from oceanic microbiology to the translation of texts between languages. In the summer of 2023, Anna interned for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, where she researched different species’ responses to changes in the environment as a result of human activities. Anna spent the fall semester of her junior year in Santiago, Chile studying literature and interning at the Municipality of Recoleta’s migrant program. On campus, Anna is the co-president of Wellesley BlueJazz, a member of the Chamber Singers, and a tour guide for the Office of Admission. Anna is proficient in Spanish and continually seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge. Upon graduation, Anna’s goal is to blend her passion for science with her love for communicating with different people, working in museums or educational institutions, whether in the United States or a Spanish-speaking country.
