In Summer 2025, she interned at the National Innovation Center in Nepal, collaborating on design solutions to improve the thermal comfort of birthing centers in remote Himalayan villages. On campus, Edylene works as a Ministrare Peer Leader, helping students engage in service, and serves as President of Wellesley for Caribbean Development, where she leads programming that celebrates Caribbean culture and community. She also organized a service day with Habitat for Humanity’s North Central chapter and continues to volunteer in her free time. Edylene’s next professional goal is to explore global approaches to urban planning and design through her custom summer voyage as an Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholar.
