In summer of 2025, Isabella interned at Boston Medical Center Rooftop Farm, growing fresh produce for the BMC preventative pantry and leading educational programming for Boston school children. On campus, Isabella researches invasive plant ecology in the Griffith Lab. She has also worked on grassroots urban farming projects bringing Wellesley students to Boston farms, and was as a team leader during the Civic Engagement food security Service Journey the past two years. She is a member of the student organization funding committee and has been an orientation mentor twice. Isabella studied abroad in southern Argentina last fall and is continuing to practice Spanish this year living in Casa Cervantes. Isabella hopes to continue working on environmental justice initiatives after graduating and become more involved in urban food policy.
