She is an international student from Japan, and fluent in both English and Japanese. In the summer of 2025, Makoto interned in the Global Markets Division of an investment bank, where she gained firsthand experience in market fundamentals and learned how economic trends shape people’s lives. On campus, she serves on the Student Organization Funding Committee, overseeing the allocation of funds and ensuring fair distribution among student groups. Makoto’s goal upon graduation is to pursue a career in finance, with a focus on applying her analytical skills to global markets.
