Nora Chase-Tatko
Nora is a junior majoring in Astrophysics with a minor in Mathematics.

In the summer of 2025, she worked as a research assistant for Professor Carrie Nugent at Olin College of Engineering, investigating asteroids in archival data from the Harvard Plate Stacks. She also assisted the LSST Discovery Alliance in preparing tutorials for querying the influx of solar system data. On campus, she operates the PlaneWave Telescope at Whitin Observatory, supporting Professor Kim McLeod’s work on exoplanet observations for NASA’s TESS mission, and tutors the introductory astronomy lab course. She is also active in the arts as a choreographer, dancer, and executive board member for Wellesley College Dancers. Nora has extensive experience with Python and is conversationally fluent in Spanish. After graduation, she hopes to work on international aerospace engineering projects and pursue a long-term career in academia.
