Thalia is a senior double majoring in Philosophy and International Relations-History.

Over the 2024-2025 school year, Thalia studied abroad in the UK, where her interest in international perspectives and global security grew. She has worked with the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi for a year, where she has conducted research on the impact of bilateral trade on development and politics in the region. These experiences have focused her academic and career interests on exploring unconventional solutions to global challenges. Thalia has a professional working proficiency in Spanish and Italian, and a limited working proficiency in Arabic. During the school year, she holds a leadership position in the Agora Society, which is a political-oriented student organization, and works a retail job in the town of Wellesley. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a graduate degree in international public policy before seeking a career in global security.
